Many people are not aware that empty printer cartridges have value. They usually send them back to the manufacturer for nothing or throw them in the trash. It is estimated that more than 30,000,000 empty printer cartridges are dumped into landfill sites every year.
Instead, click here for a list of printer cartridges we can recycle for you and drop them in the box at the rear of the sanctuary.

Over 200,000,000 used cell phones are taken out of service every year. Most of these items are thrown away or forgotten about while they lie in your drawer. We offer programs that promote responsible recycling of old cell phones. Just drop them in the box at the rear of the sanctuary!
Condition Requirements:
· Each cell phone must be able to power up and make a test call
· Cell phones can not show signs of water damage
· Cell phones with broken LCDs are not accepted
· Cases should be complete and not broken
· Phones must be shipped with battery
Service must be discontinued before donating your cell phone. The recycler and Imago Dei MCC are not responsible for air time charges accrued prior, during, or after you donate them to IDMCC. It is the responsibility of the original user and service provider to resolve any payment issues.

Laptop computers sure are handy when they are working but once they've chewed their last byte, things can get a little messy. Toxic chemicals, carcinogens and heavy metals are all part of what makes their clocks tick, and improper disposal can bring them all a little too close for human comfort.
Computer recycling is nothing new, but getting your old electronics to the great motherboard in the sky can be tricky to do responsibly. For years, developed countries have been exporting tons of electronic waste for inexpensive, labor-intensive recycling and disposal, mostly to China. It's been illegal to import e-waste into China for dirty recycling and dumping since 2000, but smuggling, corruption and China's appetite for scrap keep it coming.
Bring in your used laptop computer and drop it in the box at the rear of the sanctuary for recycling. Please note that laptop computers must be charged when donated, or with the power cord included, for testing. Click here to determine if your laptop computer is eligible for recycling.
