Justice Ministry
As members of a spiritual community, we are called to live out our shared values, to "walk our talk". MCC strives to create justice and equality among its membership through its denominational programs as well as in local churches.
In witnessing to God’s call for justice and human dignity, the Imago Dei Metropolitan Community Church joins with the Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches in seeking to celebrate diversity, build inclusiveness, and ensure equity for God’s people locally, nationally and internationally.

Farside Prayer Ministry
Farside Prayer Ministry is Imago Dei MCC's prayer ministry. We strive to spiritually strengthen ourselves and others through education, intercessory prayer and meditation. This is how we get to know God and ourselves.

Music Ministry
The Imago Dei Music Ministry Team celebrates God’s love through spirit-filled song and musical expression in worship and a variety of special events. We offer our diverse musical and vocal talents to God and strive faithfully to build relationships through teamwork and the mutual pursuit of excellence. Opportunities are always available to join our team regardless of your preferred instrument, range, level of development, or comfort with performance. We welcome anyone who has a psalm in his or her heart to join us in making joyful noise unto the Lord!

Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry seeks to provide a welcoming environment for visitors, members and friends to meet and share light refreshments after Sunday services. As Christ invited his loved ones to share his table, we share ours, with an assortment of hot and cold beverages, lots of great food, and spirited conversation.

HIV and AIDS Ministry
We facilitate personal contact by Imago Dei MCC congregants to the local AIDS community, provide information on HIV/AIDS, remember those lost to AIDS and perform corporal care in the AIDS community whenever and where ever possible.

Board of Directors
The vision of the Board of Directors of Imago Dei MCC is to see the church leadership pursues its Christ-given mission to make and mature believers at home and abroad. (Matthew 28: 19-20, Mark 16: 15)

Stewardship Ministry
The vision of the Stewarship Ministry is to educate us on the biblical principles of Stewardship. The team infuses these principles into each activity we experience at Imago Dei MCC.

Everyone Gifted! Everybody a Minister!
Imago Dei MCC believes that everyone has God-given gifts and skills to be used for ministry; and so we encourage people to discover their gifts, develop their skills, and put them to use within and beyond our church.
This practice is also known as a doctrinal teaching called "A Priesthood of All Believers" and is located in First Epistle of Peter in the Christian Bible, which reads:
“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, and God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for God called you out of the darkness into God’s wonderful light.” (2:9)
The ministries currently listed on our web site are those that have identified leadership and on-going events. If you do not see a ministry, it is possible that it is either in formation, or awaiting those called and equipped to begin leading this ministry within and beyond Imago Dei MCC.
