A couple of weeks ago I was taking a friend home an ended up having to take a detour, because of construction the city is doing. They have being doing this off and all summer so I have inadvertently learned new ways to get around the city. This particular evening I decided to go one of the new ways to avoid the construction taking place in Philipsburg, NJ. So as I’m going along I made a wrong turn in the dark and found myself at a different intersection then I wanted to be at. My friend asked me, “Were we going.” I told him I was taking him home. He proceeded to tell me I was going in the wrong direction. He was kind enough to point me in the write direction and I got him home safely.

There are so many times in our lives were we need direction. We become unsure of, what to do or how to achieve some goal we have set. We don’t know what direction to go. So what to we do, where do we turn.

Everyone in life has a purpose and we some times get caught up in some many things we loose are direction, are focus and we become unhappy with our circumstances. We become frustrated and don’t know what to do.

Since it is God that has given us all our gifts, talents, and opportunities all we need to do is go too God.  Listen to God let God guide us, to help put us in the write direction. How do we do that? By letting go of our baggage, having no fear in talking with God, telling God every thing and waiting for an answer.  

When you have done all of that, know it is the time to listen and let God fill your heart with the hope and peace of a new direction. We also need to know that we will have all the support that we need. There will be no obstacle that will stop you, no challenge that you can not over come. We fear the new because it’s new instead of embracing it and letting go of the old. Once we can let go of our fears we will be able to achieve anything.
