At IDMCC, we encourage one another to develop or renew the practice of regularly reflecting on God's love for us as reflected in the goodness of our lives. With a sure sense of our blessings in mind we are encouraged to make gratitude the fundamental motive for our sharing. Somewhere in the journey of faith a transition happens. Somewhere, somehow as Christians we find ourselves moving away from “serve-us” to “service”. Where the church is no longer a place we go “to be served” but “to serve”.
"Sharing from the Heart" groups are Covent Groups. The group creates its own covenant, which is designed to help the members grow in their faith and to encourage them to reflect their faith in their lifestyle. The covenant usually includes a list of activities in the areas of compassion, justice, worship, and devotion that the participants will strive toward in their thoughts and actions throughout the week. We recommend attending “Spiritual Well Being” small groups before attending "Sharing from the Heart" groups.
Come build relationships with others, study the bible together, and get to know yourself and your church a little better. It's the easiest class you'll ever take!
This class is for everyone and anyone who wants to know more about MCC and Imago Dei. The class is open to the curious as well as those who are thinking about becoming members or friends.

DISCIPLE is a program of disciplined Bible study aimed at developing strong Christian leaders. It focuses on the disciple as learner, believer, follower, proclaimer, and servant while providing the fellowship of a small group for study, prayer, preparation, support, and servanthood.
DISCIPLE assumes that the Bible is key to renewal and affirms that the canon was formed as it is in order for God to speak to us. The study gives the Old and New Testaments equal time, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as a revelation of God and draws upon the work of scholars to aid understanding of the Bible.
The Disciple members’ commitment will include:
Members will covenant together for full commitment to study and prepare and to attend and participate. DISCIPLE is based on the model of Jesus and the twelve disciples. This small group study works best with 8-14 members including the leader. The purpose of DISCIPLE Bible study is “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” ~Ephesians 4:12. DISCIPLE aims at transformation, not just information.

Today more than any other time in history, people have more choices as to how to give their time. They find themselves asking, "Where do I fit in?" "Why am I here?" and "What can I do to make a lasting difference in my life and the lives of others?"
God created each of us for a purpose. "For we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10. Part of his purpose for us is to edify the church and to serve in its ministries. "...to prepare God's people for the works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up." Ephesians 4:12. The PLACE process can help you discover how God has uniquely designed you, and it will help you realize God’s purpose for your life. You find your life as you give it away...but first you have to know what you have to give!
PLACE is an intentional process to connect you into purpose-driven ministry including self-discovery, individualized ministry coaching and tracking from workshop to ministry placement. Through the PLACE process, people discover that God has created and gifted you with a unique capacity to serve others.

Creating a Life that Matters is all about relationships: intentional, authentic relationships - with the Sacred, our Selves, and our Passion. CLM transforms lives and inspires people to more directed, clear, passionate involvement in their lives and in the life of the planet, through the support of their local MCC.
The Sacred: While many would agree that relationship with the Sacred is the fundamental beginning of all faith paths, this transforming experience is often lost when we exchange our spiritual vitality for empty religious practices. In the six sessions of "Rediscovering Relationship with the Sacred," we explore what it means to be transformed by an encounter with the Sacred, and rediscover loving God with heart, soul and mind.
My Passion: Our passions make us most aware of our personal power, energy and joy. Many internal and external factors influence how successfully we manifest these passions in our lives. In the six sessions of "Rediscovering Relationship with My Passion," we explore ways to manage those factors, and discover what gives us power, energy and joy as we serve the Sacred through church.
My Self: As modern, Western people, we expend time, effort and money seeking to understand who we are. In "Rediscovering Relationship with My Self," we explore some of the influences that have shaped us, and ways to create a self we will want to live with, others will want to relate to, and God will be able to use in the service of all that is Sacred.
Creating a Life That Matters integrates art, scripture, music, film, journaling, and diverse spiritual resources to augment our exploration of the Christian path.
