Imago Dei Retreat - Update

Rev. Kharma Amos to Present at Retreat

The planning committee for our Imago Dei retreat is pleased to announce that Rev. Dr. Kharma Amos will be the presenter at the Imago Dei Retreat scheduled for September14-15.  Rev. Kharma is a long-time friend of Imago Dei and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to share.  The theme of the Fall Retreat “Let My Life…” is inspired by the work of Quaker author Parker Palmer.  For more information about the retreat contact Cecilia

Imago Dei’s Delco Food Project

Imago Dei’s Pantry is always open for donations of non-perishable food items.  We use these donations to support those who are at nutritional risk directly and by supporting organizations who distribute food in Delaware County.

Imago Dei, the Image of God, was founded on the principles set forth by Metropolitan Community Church of radical inclusivity and diversity following the example of Christ Jesus.

We continue to evolve to fulfill our mission to demonstrate God's love for all by being welcoming and affirming.

We value spiritual development and community outreach and embrace the practices of inspirational worship, hospitality and fellowship.

We are called to passionately serve God and all who seek to grow in faith and understanding by offering vibrant programming with a special awareness of those who may have been spiritually broken or considered less than.

Monthly 242 Group Meetings

We continue to follow the example of the early followers of Jesus' way by meeting in small groups.  The meetings

take place monthly and always include time for fellowship and prayer as well as discussion.

Pool Party!

Just sit tight back and hear the tale, the tale of the first Imago Dei MCC members pool party!  The party is scheduled for August 19th following our Worship gathering at the home of Amy and Dan Anna.  You are invited to bring your favorite summer side dish and a friend!  The theme of the gathering is Gilligan’s Island.  Costumes are optional but encouraged.
